Awareness-raising sessions

Every change process begins with an awareness of the need for change. This need has to be communicated, and a sense of urgency engendered. The next step is for everyone to be able to answer the question: what's in it for me? The insight thereby provided into one's own motivations has a strongly positive effect on personal work, because it facilitates effective choices and helps to develop increasingly effective behaviour.

Troje's awareness-raising sessions are directed principally towards the group as a whole. We often make use of our own TOP©-model, which enables us to repeatedly illuminate and research a subject using immediately recognisable situations.

Another useful working method is a fully-improvised performance on a relevant theme, supplemented by group assignments. The performance is interpreted in small subgroups; this yields a friction between subjective and collective truths which forms the starting point for subsequent steps. In this process, Troje's performance energy generates participant energy. After this theatrical brainstorm session has released an avalanche of ideas and impressions, we channel this creative outburst and direct it towards practical proposals.
